After listening to the song I can kinda see how it shows in this drawing. I enjoyed the short telling of events in the music video but I cannot put into words how I see it associating here. But the drawing does seem to capture the energy and ability to overcome adversity (ok, maybe I did put it into words, though poorly).
Neat work. Intriguing Idea. Not wanting to be annoying, but I have looked around at the various works you've done(and the tumblr... Could be blind..heheh) and have yet to find out the "Why?" she transformed in this manner. The light and cloud swirl is magnificent. Previous comments said they see pain.......I see laughter to the sky. A roar of pride and a call to the gods.
/copy-paste from another comment "I don't want any more bronies telling me "MOOAR!!!!11oneone", I don't want to be known only because of the ponies. Plus, that fandom is so annoying to me, I sometimes can't understand you guys and don't want to be a part of it. I draw ponies because I like to, for my own satisfaction. Apart from that, imho Equestria Daily should feature only the best from the bests (because I usually see pics which, well, aren't really awesome at technique nor even the main idea)."
"I don't want any more bronies telling me "MOOAR!!!!11oneone" oh, you're so cute little marvelous modest filly
but, nah, i'm not buying it. everypony wants to be appreciated. yup, flood of meaningless comments can be pretty annoying but how else do you want them to tell you that they like what you're doing. I don't think it is fair to hide your art from eqd-watchers... don't you want your work to be seen and loved by more people?
tbh, be-known-not-only-because-of-ponies is VERY hard thing to do. cause, ya know, there's a lot lot lot of amazing artists out there. and it has really nothing to do with hiding your pony related stuff.
That is a very interesting point. In part I have to agree, many people in the fandom are annoying (hopefully I am not annoying you with my comments), not respecting people privacy and freedom to draw whatever they might want. I personally love art of almost any form, and being able to draw different thing show a higher level of skill. I really like your draws, especially the ponies. They impact you quite deep.
